Richard Winter

Richard Winter

Vice President of Operations-South

Rich, originally from Montoursville, Pennsylvania, entered the Death Care Industry as a summer intern in Shreveport, Louisiana. He eventually accepted a full time position in sales management and excelled. Rich has served in various sales management capacities including: Location Manager of Forest Park East, Director of Sales of Shreveport, Director of Sales of Pennsylvania, and Director of Sales and Marketing for all locations. In 2015 an opportunity came which allowed Rich to return to the Northeast, he was excited to accept the opportunity to serve as Director of Operations and Family Service of two locations which allowed him to learn and excel at operations in addition to sales. In September of 2016, Rich was promoted to Vice President of Operations and General Manager of Forest Park Cemeteries; and in October of 2017 Rich was promoted again to Vice President of Operations for both the Louisiana Cemeteries and all Funeral Homes. 

Rich has achieved a Bachelor's degree in Political Science 2010 and a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts 2012, earning both from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. His thesis focused on how the Death Care Industry has grown and changed since the 1960's, using Jessica Mitford's "The American Way of Death" as a foundation. Rich has graduated from the International Cemetery Cremation and Funeral Association University, and was voted Valedictorian by his peers 2014. He obtained credit for attending the J. Asher Neel College of Sales and Marketing, Cremation Services College which certified him to be a Crematory Operator, Administrator, and Counselor, Leadership, Administration, and Management College, and Land Management College. 

Rich spends much of his free time with his wife, Kate, and their boxer, Zoe. He has previously served as the Secretary for the Phi Mu Delta Educational Foundation; and is currently serving as a Member-at-Large for the Phi Mu Delta Fraternity National Council, President of the Phi Mu Delta Mu Zeta chapter Alumni Association, and Vice President of the Louisiana Cemetery Association.

Pierre Cobb  is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. He comes to us from Louisiana. Pierre is looking forward to learning the Killeen area, and serving our families.

Lionel Noel

Lionel Noel

General Manager/Funeral Director

Lionel was born in Joplin, Missouri and raised in Kansas City, Kansas. After graduating from High School, he pursued a degree in Music Education from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. After several years of teaching in public school music, Lionel was asked to join a local church as minister of music. He then pursued a master’s degree in church music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Lionel spent the next 35 years serving in church music ministry. His work as a Funeral Director is a natural extension of his years of ministry in the church. Lionel achieved a degree in Funeral Science from the University of Arkansas at Hope. Lionel enjoys a warm relationship with the families he serves and is dedicated to serving those families with the utmost in professionalism and care. He serves Heritage Funeral Home alongside his wife, Lisa, and they are celebrating 40 years of marriage. Lionel is a talented instrumentalist and enjoys providing special music in his local church.


Lisa Noel

Lisa Noel

Funeral Director

Lisa was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. After graduating high school, she pursued a degree in Communications from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. After a visit to the dentist, Lisa pursued a degree in Dental Assisting from Wichita Vocational/Technical School. Lisa served in Pediatric Dentistry, General Dentistry and Oral Surgery for 35 years. She watched her husband, Lionel, begin his studies in Funeral Science. Lisa saw this as an opportunity to minister to those who are hurting and give them comfort and support as they go through this season in life. Lisa achieved a degree in Funeral Science from the University of Arkansas at Hope. She serves Heritage Funeral Home alongside his husband, Lionel, and they are celebrating 40 years of marriage. Lisa is a talented vocalist and enjoys providing special music in her local church.


Kcirdes Henry

Administrative Assistant I

Kcirdes Henry joined our team in December of 2016 as a Service Assistant. She proudly moved into her current position in January of 2017. She had previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 20 years. She is the mother of 4 beautiful children. Kcirdes moved from Louisiana to Texas in 2010, to help her sister during her deployment. Kcirdes enjoys roller skating, reading, and planning trips with her family. In joining the Heritage Family, she looks forward to providing exceptional service to our extended families.

Danielle Freece

Danielle Freece

Crematory Supervisor

Danielle was born in Idaho, raised in Colorado, and moved to Texas in 2008. Prior to joining our team, she served in the Army Reserves from 2005-2013, as a Human Resource Specialist. In 2006, her unit was activated and deployed to Southeast Baghdad, Iraq, where she worked as a postal clerk. Upon returning home she moved to Texas, and started college, earning her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University in just three years.

She joined our company as a Service Assistant in 2015 and was quickly promoted to Senior Service Assistant. She graduated from Mortuary School at Amarillo College in 2017. While earning her degree, she also became a Certified Crematory Operator, and is currently one of the few female Crematory Operators in Texas.

Danielle is currently living in Harker Heights with her Fiancé Chet, and her three year old son. Together they have 5 children. She is active in the community as she helps arrange and work many benefits like the Canteen Toy Run and The Dogmen MC’s Battle for a Cure.

Natasha Celestin

Natasha Celestin

Service Assistant

Natasha was born in Huntsville, Alabama but soon moved to Spokane, Washington where she graduated high school in 1998. In 2003 Natasha moved to Central Texas, and makes her home in Killeen. She has three sisters; residing in California, Washington and Colorado; one brother, who is active duty with the United States Air force currently stationed in England. For the last seven years Natasha has been an Associate Manager at Mickey’s Convenience Store, located on Westcliff. She loves to read, go on road trips and watching TV. She joined the Heritage Funeral Home family in 2013 as a Service Assistant, and is persuing her interest in the criminal justice field.

Debbie King is one of our Service Assistants. She joined our team in the spring of 2018, and is dedicated to providing the best service possible to our families. She is excited to start a new journey with Killeen Memorial Funeral Home as a Service Assistant.


Jean Myers

Jean Myers

Service Assistant

Jean E. R. Myers is a Service Assistant with our funeral home. She is a 27 year retired Army veteran from the State of Virginia with an extensive background in Human Resources holding a MBA from Averett University in Danville, Virginia. Ms. Myers is a trained certified mediator and grief counselor in the area of assisting people in difficult and stressful life cycle situations. She has performed community outreach services with veterans and community individuals; volunteered on Fort Hood, at the Killeen Veteran Cemetery, Killeen Free Clinic, VFWs and supported other local community support organizations.

Nikki Gardner is a proud mom and new member of the Killeen Memorial Staff. She enjoys helping our families and is hoping to attend Mortuary School in the near future.
